All cool girls know who Joseph Altuzarra is. And if you don't know him by name, then you've certainly seen his designs—loved by the likes of Michelle Obama, Meghan Markle and EBONY Power 100 Entertainment Powerhouse awardee Ariana DeBose, to name a few. Now, the French-American designer is expanding his portfolio and sizing chart with Dia & Co, the exclusive plus-size retailer for the brand. The collection is available online now.
"It was important for us to bring Altuzarra on to Dia & Co because we know our customers want luxury clothing," Nadia Boujarwah, CEO and Co-founder of Dia & Co tells EBONY. "We’ve seen such success with our luxury sector that we knew we needed to keep expanding. We want to offer our customers the most robust shopping experience on the market, and bringing on brands such as Altuzarra allows us to do that.”
The brand was gracious enough to invite EBONY to their New York City showroom for a VIP styling session, and every piece we tried on exuded luxury. Keep scrolling to read more about this exciting collaboration, and see what some of the best-selling pieces look like IRL.
Look 1: Altuzarra Jofur Top and Arroyo Skirt
“These styles feature lots of color and different prints, which we know our customers love and are great pieces to have in your closet as the weather warms up," Boujarwah says. And while every single piece in this collection is stunning, the splashy tie-die print and ruched detailing on both pieces is a true show-stopper.
PRO TIP: I'm a 14/16, but size the XL (a size 12) fit me perfectly. "This collection really ran true to size, which has been amazing for our customers," Katie Murphy, Head of Fashion at 11 Honoré at Dia & Co says. "I would suggest following the size chart from Altuzarra and as always, with any designer, if you are in between sizes, size up. It’s always easier to have something taken in than let out!”

Look 2: Angelia Dress
The Angelia dress is one of the brand's best-selling pieces, with many sizes out of stock (for now). The team suggested pairing it with the Watermill Crossbody and a pair of satin mules from the brand. This is a look that could work on the beach or during the workweek in the summer. "One of my favorite things about these pieces is their versatility," Murphy shares.

Look 3: Altuzarra Minamoto Knit Sweater and Skirt
"The functional buttons of the knit pieces such as the 'Minamoto' top and skirt allow the wearer to create a custom silhouette and play with the necklines and hemlines," the brand says. This is another set that would work well for both work and play — especially for later this fall, paired with platform boots just like this showroom moment.
