Azealia Banks has finally released her highly anticipated EP, 1991. The EP holds only 4 tracks but the lead single and certified summer jam “212” has already garnered 17 million hits on youtube. And the 20-year old Hip-Hopstress from Harlem shows no signs of slowing down. She’s embarking on a mini world tour and her debut full-length album “BROKE WITH EXPENSIVE TASTE” is due out this fall.

Her taunting and witty lyricism mixed with her surprisingly soulful and melodic R&B musings makes her both cute and cutting – something that can be said about her on and off her records. Ms. Banks’ notorious feuds with rival Iggy Azealia and Rap Icon Lil’ Kim have made headlines all over the internet and social media landscape, making this EP a welcome return to what really matters – the music. Fans can look forward to more of her signature high-energy soulful sounds and with such a limited song selection, Banks’ ensures that every track is a standout.

“1991”is available digitally via iTunes now, with the physical release slated to follow on June 12.
