Good news for longtime Martin Lawrence and Will Smith fans, as the pair will soon reunite for the third installment of the action-comedy franchise Bad Boys.

Details behind the production, tentatively titled Bad Boys for Life, are slowly being made public, as Sony Pictures has confirmed that filming is set to begin in August, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jerry Bruckheimer will return as producer and the studio is negotiating with filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to direct.

The former sitcom stars played Miami police detectives in the first two installments of the series, which were directed by Michael Bay. Bad Boys and Bad Boys 2, released in 1995 and 2003, respectively, took in a collective $414.7 million worldwide, according to THR.

Gabrielle Union is set to star in the television spin-off of the popular buddy comedy/action series. Union will reprise her role from the 2003 sequel as DEA agent Syd Burnett, sister of Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), and one-time girlfriend of Mike Lowrey (Will Smith).
