GloRilla and Latto represented for the women and tied in the best new Hip-Hop Artist category. keeping this same energy Muni Long was given the award for Best R&B Artist this year. Both Muni Long and Latto performed over the course of the night as well.

Tems and Wizkid Tie in AfroBeats Artist of the Category

AfroBeats has continued to rise in notoriety in the US and is deserving of all the attention. Artists Tems and Wizkid both won in the AfroBeats Artist of the Year category and it could not be more fitting.
