The year 2012 may as well be known as the year of the Bey. PEOPLE Magazine has recently dubbed the award-winning diva "The World's Most Beautiful Woman," beating out 178 runner-ups for the number one spot. Having given birth to her first child in January, the international superstar has proved that it is possible to juggle a stellar career, marriage, and motherhood, while maintaining one's style and swag. Yet, out of all of titles that Beyonce holds, the 30 year-old reveals that being a mother is the role in which she feels the most beautiful. "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," says Beyonce. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth." The stunning cover for the annual issue features a close up of Beyonce draped in elegant turquoise jewelry.
In the exclusive cover story, Beyonce continues to gush about Blue Ivy and motherhood, claiming that "the best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy." The "Crazy in Love" singer also added, "the word 'love' means something completely different now." Adding on this "Most Beautiful" title to the many other feats that Beyonce has accomplished, Blue Ivy sure has a huge pair of shoes to fill as she grows older, however she certainly has the right role model to help her along. Plus, unlike stereotypical images portrayed in the media, Beyonce makes motherhood look as fabulous as a designer gown, giving Black women, and women in general, a positive image of themselves that is not only beautiful, but grounded and successful as well.
