Natural hair has made quite the presentation on high fashion runways these past few seasons. Not surprisingly, the representation of models of color rocking their textured tresses has been very limited in the past. We were elated to see folks rocking everything from TWAs (teeny weeny afros) to waist length cornrows modeling the newest in fashion. And the best part about it? Many of these styles were men!

Men are grabbing a piece of the natural hair shine, and we couldn’t be happier about it—especially when some people are still clinging to problematic views about men who embrace their kinky/curly hair.

Below are only a few of the new class of male models showing us how the gentleman strut their strands. Before you start dreaming of matching silk bonnets, check these brothers out.

Anthony is an Atlanta-based fitness trainer, who thankfully shares his abs with the world in print campaigns and independent acting gigs. He many not have the padded resume of some others on this list, but with his perfect mix of hulk and hunk we have no doubt he will soon.
