Chris Brown’s Probation Revoked

Breezy’s probation stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna was revoked yesterday. According to TMZ, the LA County D.A. called for an annulment of his probation following the alleged hit-and-run case involving CB. this past May. Although free for now, the singer will attend a probation violation hearing in August; if found guilty, he could face up to four years in prison.

Lil Wayne Apologizes to the Family of Emmett Till

The Louisiana rapper caught all sorts of backlash earlier this year when he ill-referenced Emmett Till on Future’s “Karate Chop (Remix).” Despite issuing an official apology in the form of a letter, Wayne decided to further address the controversy during his set at the America’s Most Wanted musical festival in Tennessee. Instead of spitting the oh-so-nasty original verse, he said rearranged the lyrics and rapped, “I apologize to the family of Emmett Till.”

Rihanna Fined $100,000 for Skipping Court

Apparently, RiRi is too busy living young, wild and free to sashay her way to the courthouse. After filing a lawsuit against her former financial advisers, Berdon LLP, the Bajan star missed several court dates where she was scheduled to sit down for a deposition. Now the accountant firm is smacking her with a fine for blowing a date in London that costs them a reported $100,000. Ouch.
