“Darryl and Adeola had two wedding ceremonies. The Friday event was an interactive and jubilant Nigerian ceremony, which included a show of elder respect with a touching of feet. Similar to the Greek tradition of showering the couple with cash as they dance, the Nigerian tradition involved a more placed form of cash on the couple to support prosperity in their new lives together.
“Moving into Saturday’s wedding, it is a bit more like a traditional Western wedding, which also brought in Darryl’s Liberian and American background. The couple had an Old Hollywood theme, with a fantastic ceremony and reception. Their colors, red and black, were pulled into all the details, including the fantastic cake they had. Adeola wore an amazing custom wedding dress. You’ve never seen a dress like this, and Adeola pulled it off perfectly!”
