Dallas police have officially filed charges against a 24-year-old woman after she was viciously beaten in a Deep Ellum parking lot last month, WFAA Dallas reports. L'Daijohnique Lee, 24, has been charged with felony criminal mischief charge for damaging Austin Shuffield's car after he assaulted her.

The dispute in question occurred on March 21 after Shuffield confronted Lee about blocking a parking lot's entrance. He was captured on video pulling out a gun before knocking Lee's phone out of her hands. After she hit him, Shuffield punched her several times in the head, knocking her unconscious.

Lee's attorney, S. Lee Merritt, addressed the rumored charges on Twitter.

In his arrest warrant, which was obtained by WFAA, Shuffield accused Lee of throwing a car battery charger through the rear windshield of his pickup truck.

Texas law considers criminal mischief a state jail felony if the damage incurs costs between $2,5000 to $30,000, the site reports. Police sources told the news outlet Lee caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to Shuffield's car.

Lee isn't the only party involved facing new legal woes. Shuffield's original charges were upgraded to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
