Rapper Burna Boy was tapped by the French luxury brand to star in its spring 2023 campaign. Inspired by Burna Boy's latest album Love, Damini, JPG produced an exclusive eyewear option for the rapper with heart shaped steel details on both sides and red lenses, details carefully selected by him — as well as others.



Combining Gaultier’s classic silhouette with Burna Boy’s unique sense of style, the eyeglass campaign took inspiration from the iconic music videos from the era. The rapper teased and introduced this exclusive collaboration with the avant garde Parisian label right before kicking off his recent tour by performing for over 40,000 fans in Paris. While in the City of Lights, he also organized a one-of-a-kind bash through a social media contest for select fans at the Jean Paul Gaultier headquarters.
