I am a member of Zeta Phi Zeta Christian Sorority Inc., Gamma Mu chapter. I am also an official campus tour guide, student ambassador, AG-STEM Scholar, member of Destined for Greatness, the grammy nominated CSU Chorus, Pre-Law Society, tutor and mentor to underclassmen.
I would like to go to law school focusing on environmental law and water policy. Then I would love to work for the Environmental Protection Agency to help create and implement policies that will protect our natural resources and our people.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
So far my most memorable contribution to the public eye has been my Queens week, where I held events for the entire campus focusing on black excellence and channeling your inner queen/king. Events ranged from painting with a twist to herstory (history) lessons focusing on black women. These events allowed students a chance to relax and become more educated about our history. They also created a way for more students to intermingle and meet new people while having fun. Away from the public eye my most memorable contribution has been spending time with my fellow marauders one on one and helping them find solutions to different issues while always giving them a reason to smile. I have especially enjoyed helping my freshmen make the transition from high school to college and watching how my guidance has helped them. Whether it's helping students find scholarships, tutoring them, talking to them, or anything else they need; my most memorable contribution as the queen has been helping my fellow students.
