"I would like to fulfill my dream of owning a company within the fashion industry, more specifically in plus sized fashion. As a plus sized woman I believe our community has come a long way, but there is more work to be done. I want to not only an influence younger plus sized women, but be an ICON for the plus size fashion industry."
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
My most memorable contribution is advocating for my University to receive equal funding. I participated in local budget engagement forums hosted by DC's Mayor Muriel Bowser. I diligently worked with local ANC Commissioners to equally allocate funds in the District not only for my University, but DC's Public School System, Emergency Services as well as Transportation Services. I helped advocate for my school to receive an additional $9.5 Million in the annual budget and an $132 Million in restoration of infrastructure graciously given to us by Mayor Bowser in her 2018 State of the District Address.
