While on Benedict's campus currently, I am co-captain of the dance line of the Benedict College Marching Tiger Band Of Distinction, member of Tau Beta Sigma, National Honorary Band Sorority, Tyrone Adams Burroughs Inaugural Scholar, Benedict College Gospel Choir and more.
My ultimate goal is to obtain a master's degree in business administration with a core focus in marketing. I've always dreamed of owning my own business, opening a beauty bar for men and women and an upscale women's clothing store. I plan to leverage my comprehensive collegiate experience to bring that dream to fruition. More importantly, I want to open that business in my hometown community in Atlanta to support local economic development, job creation and professional development (specifically for women of color). Over the past couple of years, my internship experience has taught me that strong marketing and branding capabilities really make the difference in giving entrepreneurs a competitive advantage. I'll leverage every tool given, both inside and outside of the classroom, to prepare me for this dream.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
I believe that my most memorable contribution as a campus queen would be my positivity as a role model and my presence as a leader. I state this because many are motivated by my ability to be involved in so much and keep a smile on my face. I believe this gives students hope and a sense of stability.
