Year in School: Senior
Expected Graduation: 2020
I am involved in various activities on campus. Currently, I am captain of the Bowie State University Cheerleading Team. I am a mentor for the Sister2Sister Mentoring Program for freshmen women. I have also been a New Student Orientation Leader for the past three years. Lastly, I sit on the SGA executive board to fulfill my constitutional duties and as an advocate for the students.
Eventually, I plan to attain my Masters and PhD in Psychology. My ultimate goal is to open my own counseling center in my community due to the lack resources available to African Americans. I plan to create a comfortable environment.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
My most memorable contribution as Miss Bowie State University so far has been my first program held for freshmen women titled, A Golden Journey. This was a program to get freshman women formally transitioned into college. This experience will always be most memorable to me since I created a safe space and a new start for the women as they began their matriculation throughout Bowie State University.
