Year in School: Senior
Expected Graduation: 2020
I am SSU's 2019 White House Initiative HBCU Competitiveness Scholar, 2019 University System of Georgia Board of Regents scholar, NOYCE scholar, and a student in the Honors Program. During my second year, I was the vice president of GA Association of Educators, vice president of Educators Rising, and Miss Gold 2018-2019 for the Delta Eta Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. During my first year of college, she served as Miss Camilla- Hubert 2017-2018 and SGA Sophomore treasurer 2017-2018.
My short term career goal is to become a high school math educator. I want to earn certificates to teach honors and AP courses, then eventually become an administrator. I also want to open my own school.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
Thus far, my most memorable contribution has been restarting Queen's Coalition. Queen's Coalition is an initiative started by a previous Miss Savannah State University and it was an effort to bond and showcase all of the campus queens. As apart of my reign, I wanted to revamp and rebrand the organization so that all of the queens could have an impactful reign, learn from each other, and grow together.
