Cardi B announced Wednesday that she and her husband, Offset, have split after one year of marriage. She shared the news in an Instagram video after another alleged incident that Offset was unfaithful surfaced online.
“Everybody been bugging me and everything,” Cardi opened up. “You know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now.”
The pair secretly wed in September 2017 and welcomed their daughter, Kulture, in July 2018.
Throughout their relationship, Cardi has defended her position on staying with Offset after numerous infidelity rumors.
“It’s nobody fault. I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore,” Cardi added. “I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce.”
The new mom said that sharing a child built an unbreakable bond between them. “I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
According to Newsweek, Offset commented under the video writing, “Ya’ll won.”
