NJ Man Arrested for Harassing Black Neighbors in Viral Video
Edward Cagney Matthews has been arrested and charged with bias intimidation and harassment after he was caught on film berating and threatening a man and woman in a racist rant, NBC Philadelphia reports. Neighbors of the Mount Laurel resident say that they've reported Matthews to the police in the past for similar behavior; however, no action was taken until Friday.
CC Sabathia Recalls Waking Up Naked At A Jay Z Party
In an interview with Gayle King for "CBS This Morning," CC Sabathia spoke candidly about some of the low moments he experienced during his career as a result of alcohol addiction. The former Yankees pitcher, who details his journey in his new book, Till The End, recalls embarrassing moments like waking up naked at a Jay Z party and wetting the bed on his wedding night.
"It's no problem for me to tell the story, and like I told you before, I had normalized all this stuff," Sabathia told King. "For me, people read the book, and it's jaw-dropping stuff — but for me, it's my life and normal, and I didn't think people would think it was interesting or fascinating. It's just something that I had dealt with and knew that I was alcohol dependent from the first time I had a drink when I was 14 years old."
Now six years sober, the six-time all star player says that he hopes his story will inspire others to seek help.
Ice Cube And Warner Bros. Conflict Halts Production Of 'Last Friday
The tension between Ice Cube and Warner Bros. over rights to the Friday franchise has resulted in a halt on production of the fourth Friday film, Last Friday, The Wall Street Journal reports. While Ice Cube has requested rights to the franchise as well as two other films—All About The Benjamins and The Players Club—that he has produced under Warner Bros., the company is refusing to do so. Further, Cube's legal representative says that creative differences and underfunding have also soured the relationship.

President Joe Biden is being urged by European diplomats and business leaders to lift the 15-month-old European and United Kingdom travel ban previously put in place by Donald Trump as a result of the coronavirus, The Wall Street Journal reports. Recently, travel bans were lifted in both locations, allowing American travelers to enter.
Nick Cannon Welcomes 7th Child
After she seemingly announced that she would be expecting a child with Nick Cannon on Father's Day, Alyssa Scott welcomed her new baby last month. The model confirmed the birth of her child, who was born June 23, by way of an Instagram post shared over the holiday weekend. "I will love you for eternity," Scott captioned the post. This would be Cannon's 7th child.
