32-year-old Chris Brown has been accused of hitting a woman during an argument at his Los Angeles home.

According to Us Weekly, Lizeth Lomeli, a spokeswoman for the LAPD, shared that Brown is currently under investigation for battery in relation to the alleged altercation. He was accused of striking a woman during a heated exchange, which took place last week on Friday, June 18 in the San Fernando Valley.

“The woman victim advised she and the suspect argued and the suspect struck her,” Lomeli said. “A crime report for battery was completed.”

TMZ scooped the incident first, claiming the alleged victim told officers that Brown smacked the back of her head so hard that part of her hair weave came out. And while no injuries were reported nor any charges filed against Brown, the Grammy-winner responded to the TMZ report with an Instagram Stories post that simply read “YALL SO DAMN [CAP],” with a hat emoji representing slang for a lie or a lying person, place or thing.

This marks the second time police have been called to Brown’s home in the past few months. Police shut down his wild 32nd birthday party back in May, and now with this alleged incident making headlines, Brown has reopened commentary about the 2009 arrest for physically assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna. He pled guilty to felony assault and completed probation in 2015, in addition to community service and domestic violence counseling.
