UPDATE: The suspects will face criminal charges including hate crimes and kidnapping in the filmed assault of a mentally disabled man that was broadcasted live on Facebook.

“F*** Donald Trump! “F*** White people boy!”

Those are the words that can be heard on a live video posted to Facebook Tuesday. Four people are in custody after the footage showed them allegedly torturing an 18-year-old White male in a Chicago apartment unit.

According to CBSthe victim is a northwestern Illinois resident with special needs who had been reported missing.

In the footage, believed to be from Tuesday, the victim can be seen in cut up clothing with his hair cut with a knife until his scalp bled. He was also peppered with cigarette ashes. Several African-American people can be heard laughing during the attack. They also made disparaging remarks about President-elect Donald Trump and used racially charged language.

“It’s sickening,” Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson said at a news conference Wednesday. “It makes you wonder what would make individuals treat somebody like that.”

The incident took place in an apartment on Chicago’s West Side in the 3400 block of West Lexington, police said. Officers found the victim wandering around the neighborhood in a state of trauma. Soon after, authorities drew the connection with the disturbing Facebook video.

Two males and two females, all adults, are now in custody with criminal charges expected to be filed. It’s too soon to say whether the suspects would be charged with kidnapping or a hate crime, police said.

“He is an acquaintance of one of these subjects,” Chicago Police Cmdr. Kevin Duffin said of a connection between the victim and the suspects. “Apparently, they met out in the suburbs. These subjects then stole a van out in the suburbs and then brought him into Chicago.”
