As Pharrell Williams took on what could easily be considered his biggest musical undertaking yet, seemingly he could lose his cool or appear a bit distressed.

But no, not this cool guy.

Ever the charmer with his velvety smooth rhythm and relaxed style, Williams strolled down The Oscars’ red carpet in a three-piece black Lanvin tuxedo with satin trim lapels and off-kilter velvet bowtie for a dose of distinctiveness.

A welcomed change from his normal uniform of plaid shirts, tees, denim, and boots, Williams reminds us that a well-dressed man commits to simplicity, and stresses, even under pressure.
