A woman of faith and publicist to the stars, Patti Webster, CEO of W&W Public Relations passed away Friday, September 13. No cause of death has yet been released to the public. “Just got the devastating news that my publicist Patti Webster passed away this morning,” tweeted gospel recording artist James Fortune, breaking the news via Twitter. “My thoughts & prayers are with the family!”
Webster, who boasted world famous clients like Janet Jackson, Halle Berry and Patti Labelle, also had an extensive gospel roster inclusive of artists like Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Michelle Williams and numerous others.
At the height of her entrepreneurial success, last year, the savvy businesswoman and preacher of the gospel celebrated two decades of service as CEO of a company that began modestly in 1991.
