The legendary Dionne Warwick, 71, gave her first interview since her cousin Whitney Houston died. Speaking with "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts, Warwick revealed intimate details about her relationship with Houston. Warwick shared that she spoke to Houston the day she passed, "She [Whitney Houston] said, ‘You’re here, aren’t you? You’re coming to the party, aren’t you?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I’m going to be there’ and she said, ‘Thank you, I want you to be here. You’ve got to be here for me.’” Warwick went on to share Houston was "so up, ready, and happy" earlier that day, "She had everything to live for."

Speaking on Houston's mother Cissy Houston, Warwick said she's proud of how well she's holding up. "She has her moments of course and will continue to have her moments.  I think she’s coming to terms with it just about now.  It’s going to take quite a bit of time.”

Warwick has been close by Houston's daughter Bobby Kristina, 19, in support of grieving. Reports revealed Houston's daughter will inherit everything from Houston's fortune.
