Veteran tech entrepreneur and diversity advocate Hank Williams has died.

He was 50.

Williams, a resident of New York, died Sunday at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.

He was being treated for complications from pneumonia and myocarditis.

Williams founded Clickradio, an internet music company in 1998. He was also the brainchild behind Kloudco, a cloud storage and data management platform in 2008.

In 2012, he founded Platform.org, a non-profit group aimed at increasing the interest and participation of Blacks, Latinos and women in the tech industry.
