According to Spinderella, she received a "termination email" earlier this year that excluded her from performances with the group.
She thought the group members would address her departure publicly, but she was forced to come forward since they remained silent. "It was my expectation, after making that decision, that they would also take responsibility for sharing the news with the public and other affected parties. It has been months now without mention," the acclaimed DJ said.
Despite her leaving the group, Spinderella said she has a slew of upcoming opportunities in the works. "Please know that you will have the opportunity to see me this summer in many other projects and activities I'll be participating in and I look forward to seeing you all then."
News of the veteran's DJ's departure from Salt-N-Pepa in January comes as more of a surprise now because last month, it was announced she would be starring alongside the group and SWV for BET's new Ladies Night reality series.
