Drake hinted at securing a residency deal at The Wynn’s XS Nightclub in Las Vegas last week during a performance at the lavish venue.
“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be at T-Mobile Arena or some [stuff],” he said according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”
Hours after hitting the stage, Drake shared a photo on Instagram from his performance at the nightclub with the caption, “New home.”
Sources told the publication that Drake signed up for 12 shows over the next two years. The Toronto native will make about $10 million through the residency deal, according to The Blast.
Touring has become a lucrative business for the rapper, who made $2 million for the one-night event at XS. Last year, he earned $79 million during his Aubrey & the Three Amigos national tour.
