According to Drake (and common sense), you can’t have everything. Fortunately for his fans, what you can have is a new album from the “0 to 100” rapper.

You read that right. Drake has confirmed that some new OVO sounds are brewing in The 6. Headlining the eighth annual OVO Fest in Toronto on Monday night (August 7), Drizzy brought out a star-studded lineup of special guests which included Playboi Carti, French Montana, Rae Sremmurd, Cardi B, Migos, Nelly, The Weeknd, and foe-turned-friend Tory Lanez. Another highlight of the night, however, came at the very end of the show, when Drake announced that he’s been in the lab cooking up a new album.

“I’m about to go back to making this new album in Toronto just for you,” Drizzy revealed to the thousands in attendance at Toronto’s Budweiser stage. “I’ll see you next year, we’ll be bigger, we’ll be better. I go by the name of Drake, this a OVO Sound ting for life.”

Since Drake’s 2017 effort More Life was technically labeled a “playlist” and not an album, the upcoming project will be the follow-up to Views. At this point, it’s unclear how far along in the recording process Drake is, but the bar will be set pretty high for Drake‘s fifth studio album. Views featured the smash hits “One Dance” and “Hotline Bling,” which peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, More Life broke Spotify’s one-day streaming record upon its release back in March.
