ZOE SALDANA SHARES HOW HER SKIM REGIMEN HAS CHANGED: Sometimes my face is oilier or drier, depending on the season, so I want to have different lotions or serums that cater to its needs. When my skin is oilier, I use a lightweight lotion like Shani Darden’s Retinol Reform. It has enough retinol to stimulate all the good things that need to be stimulated in my skin, but it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t irritate or upset it. When my face is dry, I love using Dr. Hauschka’s moisturizer. Sometimes I’ll mix it with a tiny bit of coconut oil and just rub it in.

ON HOW SHE FAKES AN EVEN COMPLEXION: I don’t like to put heavy base on my face, but I do cover up the spots and the dark circles under my eyes with concealer. My favorite is from Laura Mercier. I just dab it on with a small lipstick brush.

ON HER LATEST DISCOVERY: I’m beginning to explore organic natural beauty products. Right now, I’m into a brand called Au Naturale. I love their glow stick. You can use it everywhere on your face—your eyelids, right under your brow bone, your cheeks and nose. I also like their blushes and lipsticks.

ON HER SIGNATURE RED LIP: At night, I love wearing a sultry red shade by Tom Ford. I only wear it at night since it’s so matte. For day, I wear a satin-finish candy apple shade from Givenchy.

ON HER GO-TO SCENT: It’s Dominique Ropion’s Carnal Flower. I’ve been using it for years. I think it’s important to find a fragrance that complements your natural pheromones, and this one is compatible with mine.

ON HER TRIED-AND-TRUE LATIN-CARIBBEAN HAIR TIPS: If your ends are looking dry, try nourishing them with a bit of olive oil. Also, mash up an overripe avocado with some olive oil and apply to your hair and skin. The concoction might be a bit stinky, but your skin and hair will feel soft and pampered.
