Brittney Griner Plays In First Game Since Return

WNBA star Brittney Griner has returned to the league for the first time since her return to the United States. After being detained in Russia for over 300 days, she played with her Phoenix Mercury teammates and received great reception from the crowd. During the game, she scored ten points and three rebounds in her 17-minute playing time. Following the game, Griner shared with reporters, "I’m grateful to be here, that’s for sure. I’m not going to take a day for granted."

Jamie Foxx and Daughter Announces New Game Show

After concerning news surrounding his health, Jamie Foxx is returning to the limelight with more positive updates. Foxx and his daughter Corrine announced that they are working on a new musical game show called "We Are Family." Although it has not been announced when the show will air on FOX Network, the father-daughter duo shared, "We are thrilled to be developing ‘We Are Family’ with Jeff Apploff and our friends at Fox Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of 'Beat Shazam'. We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year."

Governor DeSantis Bans Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programs in Florida Colleges

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has banned diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives on college campuses in the state of Florida in an effort to suppress inclusivity. Public colleges and universities will now be unable to allocate money toward initiatives that fall under the DEI category.

During a press conference, he stated, "If you look at the way this has actually been implemented across the country, DEI is better viewed as standing for discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination. And that has no place in our public institutions."
