Don Lemon To Return to CNN Today

After making sexist comments about politician Nikki Haley, Don Lemon is to return to CNN on the promise that he will undergo formal training. Last week, Lemon made remarks referencing Haley's age and capabilities in her run for office while on air. He has since apologized for his misogynistic comments but was removed from his slot for a few days.

CNN's chief executive Chris Licht wrote in a memo, “I sat down with Don and had a frank and meaningful conversation. He has agreed to participate in formal training, as well as continuing to listen and learn. We take this situation very seriously. It is important to me that CNN balances accountability with … fostering a culture in which people can own, learn and grow from their mistakes. To that end, Don will return to CNN This Morning on Wednesday.”
