Ja Morant Suspended for at Least Two Games

After brandishing a gun while on an Instagram Live, Memphis Grizzles player Ja Morant has been suspended from at least two games and indefinitely benched from playing. This comes after the many questionable decisions the NBA star has made over the past few weeks in his personal and professional life. An additional investigation has been launched, and many sports icons such as Jalen Rose have implored that Morant gets the necessary help to turn his situation around.

Morant released a statement apologizing for his actions and vowing to get the necessary help. "I take full responsibility for my actions last night. I'm sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down. I'm going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being," he said.
