This afternoon, rapper Megan Thee Stallion shared her testimony during the court proceedings in the trial for Tory Lanez. In 2020, the two were involved in an altercation that resulted in "Hot Girl Summer" rapper being shot in the foot. On the stand, she recounted the memory of what took place while breaking down in tears. “I can’t believe I have to come here and do this,” said Megan. Later in her testimony, she expressed that she wishes Lanez would have "shot and killed her" due to the extent of the pain she has experienced over the ordeal.

Marsai Martin Opens Up About Recent Surgery for Ovarian Cyst

In an Instagram Story, actress Marsai Martin shared that she recently underwent surgery for an ovarian cyst at the beginning of the month. "If you missed my live, long story short, I had surgery for my large ovarian cyst that gave me constant pain for 4+ years. I really don't remember any of this sh*t because of the anesthesia, lol. But I will say that I am very grateful to have family and educators by my side in support of this process," said Martin. The text was included on an image of her in a hospital gurney. She encouraged her followers to take their health seriously and get checked out often.

Playwright and thespian Jordan E. Cooper has launched a campaign to save his production Ain't No Mo. After opening only two weeks ago, the show is set to shut down this Friday due to lack of ticket sales. A few days ago, Cooper took to social media as his character Peaches to encourage folks to support the show. This week, Lena Waithe and RuPaul will be hosting talk backs in support of the show's efforts. Additionally, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have purchased a full house of tickets as well.
