Richard Sherman's Wife Breaks Silence On Domestic Violence Arrest

In response to Seattle Seahawks player Richard Sherman's arrest on domestic violence-burglary charges, Sherman's wife, Ashley Moss told The Seattle Times, “At this time we’re going to make no statements, except he didn’t harm anybody. My kids were not harmed in the incident. He’s a good person and this is not his character. We’re doing all right, just trying to get him out. I want people to know no one was injured.” 

On the night of Sherman's arrest, Moss called 911 and told dispatchers that the 33-year-old athlete had threatened suicide. He is also being investigated for a hit-and-run accident that took place hours before the arrest.  

Cardi B Scores Legal Victory In Tasha K Lawsuit

A judge has dismissed the countersuit filed by vlogger Tasha K against Cardi BTMZ reports. In the countersuit, which was filed after Cardi sued the YouTube personality for defamation, Tasha accused Cardi of having a hand in her 2019 assault. The judge presiding over the case, however, ruled that Tasha had "failed to produce any evidence that [Cardi] herself threatened [Latasha] or made her believe that she was going to harm her." Cardi's defamation suit against Tasha is still ongoing.

Remy Ma To Host VH1 Series, 'My True Crime Story'

Remy Ma will continue her work at VH1. In her latest endeavor with the cable network, the Bronx rapper will host a series called My True Crime Story. According to The Jasmine Brand, the series will share the dramatized stories of real-life people who committed crimes but later found redemption. The new series premieres on August 2.

Sha'Carri Richardson Offered $250K Brand Ambassorship By Vape Brand

Sha'Carri Richardson was offered $250,000 to fulfill a brand ambassador role for vape brand, Dr. Dabber, TMZ reports. It remains unclear if Richardson, who was banned from participating in the Tokyo Olympics after testing positive for marijuana, will accept the offer.
