Shooting Takes Place at a Texas Outlet Mall
The second shooting in under a week, eight lives were claimed during a tragic incident at an outlet mall in Allen, Texas. Mauricio Garcia opened fire with an AR-15 style rifle and was later killed by police on site. 7 individuals were wounded during the shooting.
President Biden to Speak at Howard University's Commencement
President Joe Biden is slated to be the commencement speaker at Howard University's upcoming convocation ceremony. Biden's visit to the alma mater of Vice President Kamala Harris will kick off an HBCU tour in which several members of the Biden-Harris administration will speak at during graduation season. So far, those already scheduled are Housing Secretary Marcia Fudge at Florida A&M University; Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack at Alcorn State University; Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at Fayetteville State University; and Management & Budget Director Shalanda Young at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Tiger Woods Accused of Sexual Assault
Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has accused him of sexual harassment. After being kicked out of his home, she has filed a lawsuit that states that she was harassed by the golf star when working at his restaurant, The Woods Jupiter in South Florida.
“Tiger Woods, the internationally renowned athlete and one of the most powerful figures in global sports, decided to pursue a sexual relationship with his employee, then forced her to sign an NDA about it or else be fired from her job. And, when he became disgruntled with their sexual relationship, he tricked her into leaving her home, locked her out, took her cash, pets and personal possessions, and tried to strong-arm her into signing a different NDA,” states the lawsuit.
