EBONY.com: Rosie, your clients are among today's hottest and biggest stars. What kind of style trends do you foresee we will be seeing this summer?

Rosie: I foresee a lot of color and prints like floral and tribal for the summer. Color blocking is still a popular trend but artists will also wear pastels and neon colors.  I also see lots of chic sportswear on the runway and 50's inspired styles like peplum tops, skirts and dresses.

EBONY.com: Can you share some of your "tried and true" secret tricks you sometimes use on your clients?

Rosie: For my male clients, I like to add an element of surprise to their look when wearing a suit or tuxedo. Instead of wearing a traditional dress shoe, I might switch it up and add a fashion sneaker like the Christian Louboutin Roller Boat sneakers I added to Idris Elba's look for the Golden Globes.

For my Female clients, I like to accentuate their best assets. Body shapers like Spanx and padding for the necessary areas to showcase that hourglass figure are always great to have on hand. Double sided tape is another great way to keep those slip ups from happening when wearing a deep V dress or top.

EBONY.com: Summer's just around the corner. Do you have any fashion/style tips for this season?

Rosie: Wear vibrant colors this summer!  Not only is it in for the season, but wearing bright colors and fun prints always puts me in a happy mood and I'm sure it will do the same for you!

EBONY.com: You've accomplished so much success for yourself in the past 13 years. Do you have any advice for someone looking to get into the industry? How did you get started in your career?

Rosie: 1) Network, Network, Network!!! I can't stress that enough. Be persistent, humble, learn humility and stay creative!  2) My career started with a compliment from a co-worker about my style and she advised me that I should be a fashion stylist. I did my research, took some courses at FIT, met my agent through a mutual friend, networked, interned, assisted and the rest is history!

EBONY.com: What is the most memorable moment in your career that made you realize you're a style trendsetter?

Rosie: When I started seeing other male artists emulating T.I.'s style. I was seeing more Military type dress shirts w/ the epaulets on the shoulders and the Louis Vuitton and Gucci scarves in their back pockets. I knew I had made an impact.
