In a bombshell CNN report released on Thursday, eight women say that Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman sexually harassed and was inappropriate with them.

The network said that its reporters spoke to 16 people as part of its investigation into the allegations against the 80-year old actor.

They all said that Freeman was inappropriate on set, while he was promoting his films and at his production company Revelations Entertainment.

A production assistant said that Freeman harassed her for months on the set of the 2015 film Going in Style, which also starred Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. She accuses Freeman of rubbing her lower back without consent and making comments about her figure.

“[He] kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear,” she recalled to CNN about one incident.  She said that he never was able to lift her skirt, but would move away when he made attempts.

“Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say,” she said.

Freeman’s alleged misconduct happened on multiple sets, according to CNN. A senior production staffer said that he sexually harassed her and other female assistants on the set of the 2012 movie Now You See Me.

“He did comment on our bodies… We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,” she said.

Chloe Melas, a CNN Entertainment reporter who contributed to the report said that when she was six months pregnant, she interviewed Freeman at a press junket for Going in Style and noted that the actor held onto her hand and said, “You are ripe.”

The network said it reached out to his spokesperson, who asked for a detailed list of allegations, but did not get a response when asked for multiple follow-ups.
