Marvel’s upcoming superhero flick, Black Panther, stars a bevy of talented actors of color, including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and the incomparable Angela Bassett.

This weekend, the stage and screen veteran spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the highly anticipated film, gushing over the project set to hit theaters February 2018.

“I am so stoked, so thrilled,” Bassett, who plays Queen Ramonda, shared.

“It is going to be absolutely amazing. I heard a little word that as they’re putting it together that it’s just looking and feeling amazing and I’m just glad that all that we felt while we were making it is really translating to the screen.

“So, get ready, get ready. It’s going to be quite phenomenal.”

Bassett is also set to star in next year’s Mission: Impossible 6, which recently postponed filming after Tom Cruise broke his ankle on set in London, England.
