BET drama The Quad will not be returning to the network’s lineup next year, as executives have made the decision to cancel the series less than a week after its season two finale.
Deadline reports the show starring Anika Noni Rose, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Sean Blakemore and Jasmine Guy took a drastic dip in ratings between seasons one and two. The latter averaged a 0.2 in the adults 18-49 demographic and 553,000 viewers per episode in Live+Same Day, according to Nielsen. That’s 30% lower than season one.
