International superstar Beyonce has recently removed one anticipated project from her world domination to-do list. According to reports, the singer has dropped out of the remake of "A Star is Born," a 1976 film originally starring Barbara Streisand. Directed by Clint Eastwood, the remake was set to star Beyonce in Streisand's lead role of a promising young performer, with production having even been pushed back because of her pregnancy. While Warner Bros. has not commented on Beyonce's departure from the project, sources claimed that she backed out due to a steadily growing workload for the coming year.

Rumored to be next on Eastwood's list to play Streisand's role is jazz musician Esperanza Spaulding. Still, a start date and leading man have yet to be pinned down. However, Eastwood has approached a number of Hollywood's leading men, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp and, most recently, Bradley Cooper.
