Co-hosted by Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross, the third televised BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Award Show will air November 4th on BET. Kerry Washington, Dionne Warwick, Alicia Keys, Janelle Monae, Dr. Hawa Abdi and Susan Taylor were honored at the taping, which took place earlier this month. Several performers hit the stage, including Alicia Keys, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, India.Arie, Ciara, SWV, and more.

The shows first-ever all-male tribute composed of R&B singers Eric Benet, Anthony Hamilton and Luke James also entertained the crowd with a rendition of the O'Jays' "Wildflower." M.A.D. Girls (Making A Difference) scholarships were later presented to four young women across the country who had made outstanding contributions to there communities. "A Black girl who rocks pays it forward," said BGR! founder Beverly Bond during her address to the audience. "This is not just a movement, it's a solution."
