Next in line for the monumental success of Black Panther is the chart-topping album for the film.

According to the Huffington PostBlack Panther: The Album, collected 93,000 streaming equivalent album units the first week of it’s release (Feb. 9).

The 14-track album, headed by Kendrick Lamar, produced another 52,000 units in traditional album sales. It’s the second soundtrack to debut at No. 1 in 2018 after The Greatest Showman did so in January.

Last month, the film’s director, Ryan Coogler, said Lamar would partner with Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith to produce and curate the album’s movie.

Well it looks like they were successful.
