Azealia Banks Will Pose Nude for Playboy Cover

Azealia Banks is going from Twitter troll to the front page of Playboy. The iconic publication has announced that the 23-year-old MC/singer will appear on the cover of the magazine’s April 2015 issue, with an accompanying pictorial rocking nothing but her birthday suit. The mag’s editors describe the Ellen Von Unwerth-shot visuals as “frisky pictorial that’s sure to break the Internet.” The Harlem spitfire joins former iconic Playboy covergirls like Iman, Naomi Campbell and Grace Jones. Playboy’s April 2015 issue hits newsstands on March 20.

Laverne Cox Cast as Transgender Attorney for CBS Pilot Doubt

Laverne Cox continues crashing through glass ceilings. After becoming a breakout star as Sophia on Orange Is the New Black, Cox has nabbed a co-starring role on CBS pilot Doubt, making her television’s first transgender series regular character played by a transgender actor. The show focuses on a boutique firm D.A. who gets romantically involved with a client. According to Deadline, Cox plays “a fierce and funny, competitive and compassionate transgender Ivy League-educated attorney.” There’s no word yet on when the series will premiere.

Missy Elliott Posts In-Studio Photo With Timbaland on Instagram

Missy Elliott’s flourishing during Super Bowl’s halftime show may have been the beginning of a larger comeback. The rap legend seems to be getting back to creating. Missy posted a photo Tuesday night (February 10) of herself in the studio with Timbaland. “Me & @Timbaland bk 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats,” she tweeted. Just what are the two music magicians concocting? No clue, but hopefully we’ll be hearing it soon.
