Beyoncé Was a Category on Jeopardy!

Requesting Beyoncé for $1,000 wasn’t an indecent proposal last night (November 11) on Jeopardy! Queen Bey actually hijacked a category on the classic Alex Trebek-hosted game show. Contestants were challenged to produce responses to clues for Destiny’s Child, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” Blue Ivy and other basic Yonce trivia. The brainiacs easily breezed through the category, save for one blunder by a contender named Arthur, who erroneously replied to a clue about the intoxicated Jay Z-featured single by answering “Drunk on Love.” Focus, man!

Bobby Shmurda Drops Shmoney Dance App

Got Shmoney Dance fever? Well, Bobby Shmurda is giving you a chance to Shmurda yourself. The Brooklyn rap sensation has launched an app on shmoneygram.com that allows users to create GIFs of themselves turning up to his breakout song, “Hot Ni**a.” It’s simple: You upload or take a photo of yourself and choose a scene, either from Bobby’s music video or clips of Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Drake, Team USA, Rihanna or the U.S. Military doing the Shmoney Dance. Your head is slapped atop one of theirs and voilà!, you’ve got a GIF that officially confirms your membership on the Shmoney Team.

Ghostface Killah Announces Superhero Concept Album 36 Seasons

Ghostface Killah has forever been super-duber lyrical, but on his upcoming concept album 36 Seasons, he’s playing full-blown superhero. The LP finds the 44-year-old lyricist returning to Staten Island as a vigilante dead set on saving his community from corruption and urban decay. The guest list is stacked, with recurring features from AZ, Kool G Rap and Pharoahe Monch. The album, slated for a December 9 release (one week after Wu-Tang Clan’s A Better Tomorrow drops), will also be available as a bundle package including a 24-page graphic novel.
