Floyd Mayweather Witnessed Murder-Suicide of His Former Rap Artist and a VH1 Star

In what appears to be a tragic, twisted tale of love, betrayal, revenge and self-destruction, Stephanie Moseley, dancer and star of VH1’s Hit the Floor, was allegedly killed by her husband, Earl Hayes, a rapper formerly signed to Floyd Mayweather. Sources close to the champ say he witnessed the murder, followed by Hayes’s taking of his own life. According to TMZ, Mayweather received a FaceTime call Monday morning (December 8) from a vexed Hayes, who reportedly said his wife was unfaithful and he planned to kill her. Despite the boxer’s pleas to calm him down, Hayes pulled out a gun and fatally shot Moseley, then took his own life, as Floyd watched and heard it all. Chris Brown sent condolences to Moseley, his former backup dancer, via Instagram, as did Tyga. Meanwhile, 50 Cent, Swizz Beatz and Keyshia Cole paid their respects to Hayes. Peace to everyone involved in this sad story.

Cav stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving also wore the shirts. Still, some were dissatisfied that Hov didn’t sport the shirt as a spectator too, as Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also attended.

Ghostface Killah is showing absolutely zero signs of slouching in the upcoming new year. After assembling with his Wu-Tang Clan brothers to record A Better Tomorrow and dropping his own concept album 36 Seasons (both out this month), he’s confirmed via a Reddit AMA that his long-awaited collaborative album with MF Doom, DOOMStarks, will be released in 2015. Ghostface didn’t reveal any other details about the album. The project has been delayed for years, but based on his recent prolific output, DOOMStarks just might drop sometime after the New Year’s ball. Doom’s last effort was October’s Nehruvian DOOM, a joint album with 18-year-old New York lyricist Bishop Nehru.
