Leaked Sony Email Reveals Planned Kanye West Feature Film

Kanye West might be working on the greatest movie of all time! Or at least we could imagine him saying so. “We have a major film project coming up that involves both cinematic and technological innovation, so I naturally thought Sony and wanted to reach out,” Rutberg wrote in the email, citing the Cruel Summer film Kanye debuted at Cannes in 2012. “[We] are looking to take the storytelling to the next level with a feature-length film, shot for an immersive cinema experience.” A later email revealed another plan for Yeezy to make an appearance in the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy, The Interview.

Both Young Money president Mack Maine and YM affiliate Fee Banks have referenced the title in IG captions. And Mack has previously said Wayne is “touching up the [Carter V] album and about to start another special project for the people.” Guess we’ll have to wait at least a little bit longer to find out.
