Kanye West’s “All Day/I Feel Like That” Video to Make U.S. Debut at an L.A. Museum
Kanye West sure knows how to command a spotlight. Yeezy is showing his Steve McQueen-directed music video for “All Day/I Feel Like That” on Saturday (July 25) at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The nine-minute clip, promoting the anticipated Swish album, will run for four days during regular open hours. It was first debuted in March during Kanye’s four-night Parisian residency at Foundation Louis Vuitton. The New York Times has reported that the visual was shot at the Chatham Dockyard in Southeast England and “follows Mr. West through an empty warehouse as he runs, crouches, dodges, raps, rants, sweats and pants, as if being pursued by the camera or the police or in pursuit himself, until he slumps against the wall to catch his breath.”

J. Cole Pelted With an iPhone During Performance
J. Cole got some FaceTime courtesy of a concertgoer at his tour stop in San Diego this weekend. But no, this wasn’t another brilliant grassroots outreach to a diehard fan. The 30-year-old lyricist was in the middle of performing “Power Trip” at the Bassmnt in San Diego when, without notice, an audience member hurled a white iPhone at him, hitting the MC square in the face. Ever the professional, Cole paused only briefly, seemingly in disbelief, before picking up and pocketing the phone, then continuing his verse.
Future Announces Four Free Concerts
Speaking of Cole, Future seems to be following the blueprint of his fellow Southern rep with a fan appreciation tour dubbed Salute the Fans. The rapper/singer has announced four shows that are free-of-charge to his Future Hive. The concerts kick off tonight (July 20) in ATL, followed by consecutive nights in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles, respectively. Details of each show (location, time, etc.) will be announced the morning of each show. It’s similar to J. Cole’s Dollar & a Dream mini tours that the Dreamville boss has hosted the past three summers, creating a frenzy by charging merely $1 for entry. Future’s Dirty Sprite 2 LP dropped on Friday (July 17).
