Rihanna and Jay Z to Soundtrack Thursday Night Football
All you fake soccer lovers can finally give up the act, because the real (American) football season is back! (Sorry FIFA fans.) And whose tune will be shuffling in the action every Thursday night for the entire NFL season this year? None other than Jay Z and Rihanna! Hosted by CBS and NFL Network, all 16 episodes of Thursday Night Football will start off with an epic display of Jay and Rih performing their hit “Run This Town,” alongside Don Cheadle. (Why’s Don in the mix? I don’t know either.) Now go stock up on the chips and dip… this is gonna be one strangely entertaining season.

Usher Says He Hopes Tameka Raymond Will Change Her Last Name
Tameka Raymond seems to be pretty adamant about keeping her married name intact, and hey, who can blame her? But her ex-hubby Usher has his fingers crossed that one day she’ll do him a huge favor drop that “Raymond” when he remarries. It’s good to see that Mr. Confessions has such good faith in his former spouse, but judging from her attitude on Atlanta Exes, I get the feeling that Tameka will enjoy reminding Ursher’s future wife that she’s the original Mrs. Raymond. In other words: it probably just won’t happen.

Nick Cannon Lashes Out Over Divorce Rumors
As you’ve surely heard by now, the latest couple to join the divorce club in rumorville is Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey. All sorts of shenanigans have been reported in regards to their alleged split, like stories of M.C.’s unfit mothering and both parties pulling out all types of swords, bombs and guns to keep “dem babies” (a.k.a. Moroccan and Monroe) from the other parent. The Insider even claimed that Nick gave them an exclusive statement confirming the couple’s separation, saying there was “trouble in paradise.”
Well, Mr. Nickelodeon finally broke silence and did a little wild ’n out on Twitter. In a Kanye-worthy rant, the famed mogul cursed all the media outlets spreading nefarious rumors, defended Mariah against the “bad mother” reports, and let it be known that he never released a statement to anyone regarding their marriage. He also asked that everyone respect his family and “this process,” which probably means things really are a bit shaky for the pair right about now.
