Anthony Mackie plays Captain America sidekick Falcon. Chadwick Boseman has been cast as Black Panther—could the next Black big screen superhero be Donald Glover, as Spider-Man? The talk is bubbling, with many on Twitter lobbying for the actor who doubles as rapper Childish Gambino to play Spidey via the hashtag #Donald4Spiderman. “I’m leaving it to [the fans],” the 31-year-old actor/artist said of the next chapter in the Spider-Man franchise. “Campaigning’s part of life, but for me, I’ve got a lot of stuff that I’m really excited about, and dropping it all… Of course it’d be an honor. But it’s fine if it comes to me. If not, you know. I’m very Taoist about it… I just want the Spider-Man movie to be dope, that’s all I want.”
