Rihanna Previews “Kiss It Better” From Upcoming R8 Album

Rihanna continues to drop breadcrumbs leading up to her anticipated album, R8. The 26-year-old Elle cover girl uploaded a clip from a studio session with guitarist Nuno Bettencourt as they worked on a song reportedly called “Kiss It Better.” The super-short snippet sounds like a mellow, midtempo track; songwriter Glass John revealed that he co-produced the record with Jeff Bhasker. It’s Rih Rih’s second IG preview in less than a month’s time. Hopefully next time she decides to throw us a bone, it’s a full song (or an Instagram flick that’s revealing in… other ways).

Future and Mike WiLL Made It Plan Joint Mixtape

Future and Mike WiLL Made It are becoming one of hip-hop’s most clutch duos. The Georgia brethren plan to showcase their chemistry on an upcoming joint mixtape called Ape Sh*t. The hit-making producer told XXL it’s “just something to just feed the streets right quick, ’cause at the end of the day me and Future do so many different types of music… People love when me and him come together anyway. So people would love a full project of that.” Mike WiLL has had a quietly effective year, executive producing Future’s Honest, plus laying the beats for his artists Rae Sremmurd’s two undeniable turn-ups, “No Flex Zone” and “No Type.” He didn’t say when Ape Sh*t is coming, but likely our mood will reflect the title once it drops.
