Brandy Norwood was rushed to the hospital early this morning. Apparently, the R&B singer and actress fell unconscious on a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. Just as the plane was set to take off to New York City, the singer fainted, and passengers and the flight crew had to scramble in order to help her up. Page Six just confirmed that,

“The flight crew of Delta flight 763 from LAX to New York’s JFK International Airport returned to the gate, prior to departure, after a customer fell ill on board“Medical personnel met the flight and transported the customer to a local hospital. Flight 763 departed for New York roughly 45 minutes behind schedule.”

The 38-year-old was fully conscious once she was taken out of the plane and led onto the jetway. She was then taken to the hospital, where her condition is unknown but reportedly stable.

The Full Moon singer’s team has not yet addressed the reports surrounding her hospitalization, but we do hope that the R&B singer is doing much better. Most recently Norwood was in the news shutting down pregnancy rumors. Addressing the rumors on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts Norwood wrote, “People, I’m not pregnant!!!” I got too much work to do. I just like pancakes and chocolate cake… let me live!!” Her teenage daughter Sy’rai Iman Smith, even jumped into the conversation saying, “My mother is not pregnant. I’m not gonna have any more siblings. I like being an only child. Thank you, lord.”

This story is still developing, but as we await further news, our thoughts and prayers are with Norwood and her family.
