CAA agent Cameron Mitchell is being accused of sexual harassment by aspiring actress Demi Mann, who claims the Hollywood power player used his position in the industry to take advantage of her. Mitchell represents several A-list stars, including Common, Djimon Hounsou, Gabrielle Union, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Reginald Hudlin, Terrence Howard and Will Packer.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the agent and his firm are being sued by Mann, who claims she was sexually assaulted and harassed on several occasions by Mitchell. The actress has said she met the accused at a coffee shop where he decided to become her mentor.

Mann was reportedly given confidential documents and auditions that other actresses didn’t have access to, but she was later told her professional leg-up would cost her because there was an “unwritten rule” that agents only did that for clients they were having sex with.

According to court documents, Mitchell came to Mann’s home one evening on the pretext of giving her a “present,” but upon arriving claimed he needed to shower. The agent allegedly emerged from the bathroom only wearing a towel and forced her to perform oral sex. She claims she filed a report with CAA’s human resources department, but it was ignored.

CAA has responded with the below statement:

“Although we do not comment on pending litigation nor specific personnel matters, we take allegations of this nature seriously, investigate them promptly and thoroughly, and take appropriate action.”

Mitchell joins Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Brett Ratner and other Hollywood power players accused of various levels of sexual misconduct.
